How to Change the Email ID of a Company/LLP on MCA V3 Portal
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has streamlined the process of updating the registered email ID of a Company or LLP under the MCA V3 Portal. Unlike the earlier system, you no longer need to file an eForm for this change.
Step-by-Step Process
To update the email ID of your Company / LLP, follow these steps:
1️⃣ Login to the MCA V3 Portal using the Business User credentials of the Company/LLP.
2️⃣ Go to the Profile Update section in your dashboard.
3️⃣ Enter the new email ID – it will be automatically updated in the Company/LLP Master Data.
4️⃣ The change must be authenticated by the Director(s) / Designated Partner(s) through OTP verification on the MCA portal.
Important Notes
- The option to change the email ID through eForms is not available in the MCA V3 system.
- The updated email ID will immediately reflect in the public master data of the Company/LLP.
- Ensure that the email ID provided is active and regularly monitored, as MCA sends important compliance reminders and notices to this address.
With this update, MCA has simplified the process, making it faster and paperless for Companies and LLPs to keep their communication details up-to-date.
