How to Register Digital Signature (DSC) on MCA V3 Portal
Every Director or Designated Partner whose DSC will be used for signing eForms on MCA must register (associate) their Digital Signature Certificate on the MCA V3 portal. This is a one-time process per DSC and must be completed before any form can be signed and submitted.
Prerequisites
Before starting, ensure the following are in place:
- Business User account created on MCA V3 (linked to your DIN / DPIN)
- emBridge downloaded and installed on your computer
- DSC token (USB) inserted into your computer
- Token password available
Steps to Register DSC on MCA V3
Log in to the MCA V3 Portal using your Business User credentials.
Go to MCA Services → DSC Services → Associate DSC.
Click on Associate DSC — emBridge will launch automatically in the background.
On the pop-up, select the correct Token and Certificate.
Enter your Token Password and click Register.
Your DSC is now successfully associated with your MCA V3 account and is ready for use in eForms.
Frequently Asked Questions
I get an error saying emBridge is not detected — what should I do? Ensure emBridge is installed and running. After installation, restart your browser and try again. If the issue persists, try running emBridge manually from your Start Menu before clicking Associate DSC on the portal.
Can I register the same DSC for multiple MCA accounts? A DSC can typically be associated with one Business User account at a time on MCA V3. If you need to update or change an associated DSC, use the Update DSC option under DSC Services.
I installed emSigner instead of emBridge — will it work on MCA V3? No. emSigner was used for the older MCA V2 portal. MCA V3 requires emBridge. See our emSigner / emBridge installation guide for details.
My form size increases significantly after attaching DSC — how do I fix this? This is a known issue related to Adobe Acrobat settings. See the fix here: Form size is increasing after attaching DSC.
