Download, Install and Activate emSigner / emBridge for MCA
The MCA portal requires a DSC signing utility to be installed on your computer before you can attach a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) to any eForm. The utility required depends on which portal you are filing on:
| Portal | Utility required |
|---|---|
| MCA V3 (current) | emBridge by eMudhra |
| MCA V2 (old, now largely retired) | emSigner |
If you are filing on MCA V3 — which covers all current Company and LLP filings — you need emBridge, not emSigner.
Install emBridge for MCA V3 (Current Method)
Download and install emBridge from eMudhra’s official website.
Once installed, open the MCA V3 portal and log in.
Go to MCA Services → DSC Services → Associate DSC.
Click on Associate DSC — emBridge will launch automatically in the background.
On the pop-up, select the correct Token and Certificate, enter your Token Password, and click Register.
Your DSC is now associated with your MCA V3 account.
Archived: emSigner for MCA V2
Note: emSigner was used for DSC registration on the older MCA V2 portal. MCA V2 has now been largely retired and current filings use MCA V3 with emBridge. These steps are preserved here for reference only.
Once the download is complete, double-click the emSigner.msi file to launch the setup wizard.
Click Next, select the destination folder, and click Next again.
Click Install to begin installation, then click Finish to exit the wizard.
Right-click the emSigner icon on your Desktop and select Run as Administrator.
Click OK on the message confirming the emSigner service has started.
Open Java from the Start Menu or Control Panel. Go to the Security tab and click Edit Site List. Add
